when you go apartment hunting? Here's a few good questions
to get you started.
- Does this apartment have parking?
- How old is the house/building?
- For how long is the lease?
- Does this apartment have air conditioning?
- Is this apartment heated? How?
- What repairs or changes will you make to my apartment before
I move in?
- Can my roommate and I sign separate leases?
- Are the utilities included in the rent?
- What is the rent cost?
- How much did you charge your last tenant?
- Do we have to pay a security deposit? How will I get it
back?
- Do I need to pay for parking? How much is it?
- Is there storage?
- How much is the electricity here?
- Do I need to pay a key deposit?
- Can I have pets? If so, what kind?
- What kind of changes can I make to the apartment? Can I
paint the walls?
