Furniture
- All university-provided furniture must remain in your room.
- Please do not put furniture in the hallway, even
temporarily.
- Temp-roommate furniture will be removed soon after the temp
roommate has moved to a permanent assignment.
- All missing furniture requests will be compared to your HCR
and pre-move in inspection.
Cable TV
- If you are having problems programming your TV, be sure to
read your manufacturer's manual.
- A limited number of cable cords are provided at the Area
Office (in the lobby of Munroe Hall or Sanctuary Hall).
- Double check that the cable cord is secure at the wall and
TV outlet.
- DePaul provided cable can only be received if your TV menu
is set to cable.
- If submitting a work order, please leave your remote on top
of the TV.

Telephone/Internet
- Work orders regarding telephone and internet access or
setting up your computer should be sent ot the Technology
Contact Center by logging into
CampusConnect.
Heating & Cooling
- Campus heating and cooling is provided seasonally. Please be
patient as nature transitions between seasons.
- For residents living in Centennial, CFH and Belden Racine,
be sure the heating/cooling switch is on prior to attempting to
adjust the temperature.
- Do not use your window unit AC in the winter months.
Plumbing
- If water is actively overflowing in your unit, please
contact your area office (Central Area: x5-1899; East Side:
x5-8690; West Side: x5-7202) or Facility Operations (or Public
Safety [x5-7777] after business hours).
- Do not use Drain-O or similar clog clearing products.
These chemicals burn maintenance staff's skin and damage pipes.
Locks & keys
- Please report lost keys immediately to your frontdesk or you
can contact your area office directly (East Side: x5-1899; West
Side: x5-7202).
- Your safety and security is very important to DePaul.
- Charges for lost keys will be sent directly to your Student
Account.
- Notice will be posted on your door as to when your locks
have been changed.
